Located on the mountainside, overlooking Cebu City, The Strand is a place to promenade, a place for Pasyal, for leisurely walking, for culture, and for entertainment. It is envisioned as an active destination away from the noise and pollution of the city. A place with a stong sense of Maaliwalas – a pleasant, serene, bright, and generous environment.  The new town masterplan has been designed to create a unique urban environment that cascades along the site’s topography.

The Strand offers an elevated fashion and style of tambay. The urban plan weaves a string of religious, cultural, commercial and institutional buildings to a network of residential communities below.  The Strand is designed as a street that negotiates the uneven terrain of the site interlinking a series of destinations through gardens, pathways, covered walks, and small parks.  It is a place to come together, to explore, and to stay.
